2006年1月26日，《High School Musical》上映，在全美创下6000万人观看，全球两亿五千万人观看的纪录，在全球掀起了一股音乐热潮。
2007年12月11日，《High School Musical 2》上映
2008年10月24日，《High School Musical 3: Senior Year》上映
这部片子之所以如此受欢迎，原因是，它展现了一个所有人所向往的高中生活，孩子憧憬，大人怀念。加上中间对梦想的追寻、懵懵懂懂的爱情、美妙的歌声，更成了这部片子的吸睛之处。
