sting：刺痛；使...疼痛

were：be 动词 are 的过去式
everything：一切，全部



Some day I'll find a love like yours

yours：名词性物主代词，你的
物主代词分为两种：1.形容词性物主代词
2. 名词性物主代词

形容词性物主代词 后边 必须 + 名词！
例子：my book 我的书
your book 你的书
名词性物主代词 后边 不能 接名词！
例子： The book is mine. 这本书是我的。
The book is yours. 这本书是你的。



She'll think I'm Superman

superman：超人，大英雄



Not super minivan

minivan：小货车
mini：小的，迷你 + van：厢式货车



How could you leave on Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur：犹太人的赎罪日
（具体介绍我给大家单独开了一篇文章）
on：在...... 后边 + 具体的一个日期
例子：on Sunday 在星期日
on Saturday 在礼拜六



She was caught in a mudslide

caught：catch 的 过去分词 表被动
catch- caught- caught：抓住
was：be 动词的过去式
was caught：被抓住
mudslide：泥石流
mud：泥，泥土 + slide：滑落，滑动= mudslide



Eaten by a lion

eaten：eat 的过去分词
eat - ate- eaten：吃
lion：狮子



Got run over by a crappy purple Scion

run：这里是 run 的过去分词 表被动
run-ran-run：跑
run over：撞倒，碾过
Scion：塞恩车 （上图！）

crappy：蹩脚的，没什么价值的
purple：紫色的




She dried up in the desert
desert：沙漠
dried： dry 的 过去式
dry- dried-dried
dry：干燥的，口渴的，使干枯
dry up：干枯，干涸
dryer：吹风机，烘干机


Drown in a hot tub
drown：淹没
tub：浴缸，浴盆
hot tub：热水浴缸（这里指洗澡）

Danced to death at an east side night club

danced：dance 的 过去式
dance- danced- danced：跳舞
death：死亡
club：俱乐部
night club：夜店，迪厅
east：东方
side：边
east side：1.东边的；2. 美国纽约东部，贫民区
