一．点咖啡的一个小“公式”


一
一杯咖啡=杯子大小+咖啡种类+牛奶种类
A coffee= Size+ Types of Coffee+ Types of Milk

Eg：
Small（Short）cappuccino with some low fat milk
加了一些低脂牛奶的小杯卡布奇诺

Medium（Tall）mocha without cream
不加奶油的中杯摩卡


二．杯子大小+咖啡种类+牛奶种类



1.杯子的大小（Size）

首先，形容杯子的大小，我们可以这样说：
Small（小杯）； Medium(中杯) ；Large(大杯) ；Extra-large(超大杯)


在星巴克点咖啡，形容杯子大小，我们会用
Short（小杯）；Tall （中杯）； Grande（大杯）；Venti（超大杯）或者 Trenta (超大杯，一般是用在冷饮)


2.咖啡的种类（Types of Coffee）
以下是生活中大家爱喝的几种咖啡：

(1) Espresso （浓缩咖啡）= black coffee

Espresso is a strong black coffee that is served without milk and it is highly concentrated.
浓缩咖啡是一种很强的黑咖啡，没有加牛奶但是咖啡浓度很高。

（2）Latte（拿铁）= espresso + steamed milk

Latte is espresso with steamed milk.
拿铁是加入了热牛奶的浓缩咖啡。

（3）Cappuccino（卡布奇诺）= espresso + steamed milk+milk forth or cream

Cappuccino is the most common type of coffee that most of us enjoy drinking. It is espresso with steamed milk and milk forth or cream on top.
卡布奇诺是我们绝大多数人都比较喜欢品尝的一种咖啡。它就是加了热牛奶，上面加了牛奶泡沫或奶油的浓缩咖啡。

（4）Café Mocha（摩卡）=espresso +chocolate syrup and steamed milk

Café Mocha is the best choice for people who like the sweet. It’s espresso with chocolate syrup and steamed milk.
摩卡咖啡是喜欢甜食的人的最佳选择。它就是加入了巧克力糖浆和热牛奶的浓缩咖啡。

（5）Americano (美式咖啡)= espresso+water or ice

Americano is one of the most common coffees. It just adds some water or ice into espresso.
美式咖啡就是一种最普通的咖啡。就是向浓缩咖啡中加了点水或者冰块。

（6）Frappuccino(法布奇诺)= cold coffee+ whipped cream or ice cream

Frappuccino is a cold coffee with some whipped cream or ice cream.
法布奇诺是一杯加了生奶油或者冰淇淋的冷咖啡。
（咖啡分为热饮和冷饮，如果大家需要冷饮的话直接在咖啡种类前面加iced， 如 iced latte.）


3.牛奶的种类（Types of Milk）
点咖啡的时候可以适当的加一些自己喜欢喝的牛奶哦！

(1)low fat 低脂
(2)whole 全脂
(3)skinny 脱脂
(4)organic 有机
(5)steamed milk 热牛奶
(6)whipped cream /cream 生奶油/奶油
(7)ice cream 冰淇淋
(8)soy 豆奶

掌握了以上三个，按照给出的公式，大家就可以在冬日点一杯自己想要的咖啡啦！

三．点咖啡

1.服务员：你需要喝些什么？

May I take you order？ / What would you like？ /What can I get you？/What will you have？

你可以回答：I would like a Latte ./ I’ll have a cappuccino ./ Frappuccino. Please. (针对这个问题，大家就可以结合咖啡种类来回答啦)

2.服务员：你需要多大杯的？

What size would you like？ / What size will that be？

你可以直接说：Short（小杯）；Tall（中杯）；Grande（大杯）；Venti（超大杯）（针对这个问题，大家就可以结合杯子大小来回答啦）

3.服务员：在这边喝还是带走？

Is that for here or to take away？

你在这里喝的话可以说 ：For here；
带走的话可以说 ：To take away 或者To go. （其实针对以上三个问题，你也可以直接将这三个问题的回答整理成一句话就行了，比如说：I’d like a small mocha without cream to go. / I’ll have a medium iced latte with vanilla syrup for here.）

4.服务员：你的名字是？

What is your name， Sir (Ms)？

你可以说：I’m Vivian 或者直接说 Vivian。（如果不想泄露自己的信息，可以直接用类似于 Mike 这样的名字来回答。）

5.服务员：还需要其他的吗？

Is that everything？ Will that be all？ ？

你还想要再加些点心，比如说：慕斯 mousse/ 布丁 pudding. （没有的话就说 Yes. 但需要其他东西就直接说自己想要点的东西就行了。）

6.服务员：你的费用是？

Your total is……/ That comes to……/That will be……（一定要听清楚数字哦）
